Welcome to Nexa Kitchen. We are committed to protecting your global privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information across different platforms and territories.

1. Information Collection & Use

We collect information to provide a seamless kitchen management experience:

Account Access: Email and Name via Google Sign-In or Email registration.
User Profile: A unique @handle used for identification and community features.
Inventory Data: Pantry items, quantities, and categories.

2. Hardware & Notifications

            Camera & Gallery: We request access to your device camera and gallery solely for scanning grocery receipts. Images are processed for text extraction and are not permanently stored.
        

Notifications: We send alerts for item expiry and due dates. You can opt-out at any time via your device system settings.

3. Data Storage & AI Processing

Storage: We use Hive for local on-device performance and Firebase Firestore for real-time cloud synchronization.

AI Refinement: We use AI models to refine receipt data. This processing is automated to improve your data entry accuracy.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not sell your data. We use the following services for app functionality:

Google Play Services / Apple App Store
Firebase (Authentication & Database)
Google Ads (AdMob)
Google Search (For integrated recipe searches)

5. Account and Data Deletion

Nexa provides two ways to permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data (pantry items, receipt images, and profile information):

In-App: Go to 'Settings' > 'About' and tap "Delete Account".
Web Request: If you have uninstalled the app, please email nexakitchenteam@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account with the subject "Request for Account Deletion".

Requests are processed within 7 business days. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

6. Cookie Policy

Nexa Kitchen values your digital privacy. Our informational webpages (Home, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service) do not use cookies, trackers, or any local storage mechanisms to monitor your browsing behavior. We do not collect "HTTP Cookies" or "Flash Cookies" from your browser when you visit this website.
